Microsoft Money 2003 includes a number of new and innovative features that make account management and investing easy, as well as provide providing valuable insight into your finances.

The set up program will walk you through the necessary steps required to install Microsoft Money 2003 on your computer. The two types of installation are Express and Custom. Steps for each follow.

Now that you have installed Microsoft Money 2003, you are ready to start the application and create your Money file. The Money Setup Assistant helps you collect the fundamental information the program needs so that you can start using Microsoft Money right away.

The first screen of the Money Setup Assistant introduces you to the process of creating a Money file. If you are very experienced with Microsoft Money and do not wish to use the Money Setup Assistant, you may click Skip the Setup Assistant and start using Money now. Otherwise, click Next to begin entering your information into the Money Setup Assistant.

Whether you are upgrading from a previous version of Microsoft Money or from Quicken, Money 2003 makes it easy to transfer this information and get started right where you left off.

Microsoft Money will detect the data file from an older version of Microsoft Money, create a backup copy and immediately begin converting the file.

In just minutes, you can copy your Quicken data into a data file for use with Microsoft Money 2003.

If you are new to using Money, you can leverage the prior experience gained from other Microsoft products as well as basic computer concepts to quickly begin using the product. Moreover, there are a number of tools which make the product even easier easy to use. The Money Home page, navigation bar, keyboard shortcuts, icons and in-product help are all designed to make managing your finances quick and simple.

The My Money Home page offers many different views, allowing you to quickly change the content of the page to match your objectives. Money defaults to the Basic View, to display general financial information.
