Monitoring Advanced Level Student Progress with an MS Excel Spreadsheet
The article describes the use of spreadsheets as a management tool to record and monitor progress, outcomes and added value for students on Advanced Level programmes. GCSE qualifications are used, within Durham University’s A Level Information System (ALIS) to predict potential outcomes and progress is regularly reviewed against targets.
