Internet Explorer 6 has taken steps to improve Web browser flexibility. A new and innovative capability that offers you more Web options is Automatic Image Resizing. If pictures are too large to display in your browser window, automatic resizing makes them fit. You no longer need to scroll horizontally or vertically to view large pictures. In addition, if you browse to pictures that fit within the browser window, but then change the window dimensions, Internet Explorer 6 automatically adjusts the pictures to fit within the new window size.
